The 2008 China Transformer Technology Development Forum was held in Guiyang on October 27.

At the same time, the 14th National Academic Conference on Transformer Technology and the Award Awarding Conference of "Wuyue Electrical Appliance Cup" were held.

The forum is aimed at setting up a national technology exchange platform for technical decision makers, technical elites, relevant experts and scholars in the power industry and transformer industry, and discussing and exchanging new trends in transformer technology development and achievements in technological innovation. The technical problems and solutions commonly encountered in transformer operation and maintenance are discussed and exchanged.

More than 100 experts and scholars from the national transformer technology field attended the meeting.
