The Birth of "Super Level 1" Energy Efficient Transformer
Industry

Recently, Haihong Electric and Shougang have jointly developed a "super-1" energy-efficient transformer, whose performance level surpasses that of the first-level energy-efficient transformer and achieves ultra-low no-load loss (a reduction of more than 20%). The product is made of 0.18mm ultra-low loss silicon steel of Shougang, combined with the technical effect of double energy-saving of three-dimensional coil core, adopting a number of patented technologies, and through active research and development, a "super 1" energy-efficient transformer has been successfully trial-produced. Taking 200kVA capacity product as an example, the measured value of no-load loss decreases by 24.17% compared with the first-level standard value of energy efficiency, and the power level of noise value is 35dB (A), which is 18 dB lower than the national standard. The other test indexes are excellent.

At present, energy consumption and environmental protection have become a global social concern. According to statistics, China's transmission and distribution losses account for about 6.6% of the country's electricity generation, of which distribution transformer losses account for 40-50%, power loss is serious. Facing the contradiction between increasing energy demand and energy consumption, energy saving and consumption reduction of transformers is one of the important measures to save resources and protect the environment in the power industry. In recent years, domestic power grid construction is actively upgrading to a safe, reliable, green and efficient smart grid. Further reduction of transformer idle load loss is the main way to reduce power loss. At the same time, the future power grid will actively promote the wide application of new materials, and the innovation of new materials technology will greatly affect the development of power grid.

Compared with the products widely used in the market (S11-M.RL and S13-M.RL), the "super-level 1" energy-efficient transformer has remarkable energy-saving and consumption-reducing effect. Taking 200 kVA products as an example, the "super-level 1" energy-efficient transformer can save 4827 yuan of electricity per year compared with S11 (national standard deviation), and 4098 yuan of electricity per year compared with S13 (national standard deviation). According to statistics, the total number of distribution transformers running online in China is 15.3 million, of which the S11 transformer is about 5.797 million. If all transformers are replaced with "super-1" energy-efficient transformers, calculated with an average capacity of 400 kVA, 1.458 million tons of standard coal can be saved a year, 29.16 million tons of SO2 emissions and 3.82 million tons of CO2 emissions can be reduced. With the acceleration of urbanization process, the demand for new energy-saving transformers and replacement of high-energy-consuming transformers will increase year by year. The use of "super-level 1" energy-efficient transformers can achieve a higher level of energy saving and consumption reduction, effectively solve the growing contradiction between energy demand and energy consumption, and slow down the trend of global warming.

Successful trial production of "super 1" energy-efficient transformer marks a leap forward in domestic transformer production technology, effectively pushing the transformer industry to a higher level of energy efficiency, more energy-saving and environmental protection, safer and efficient distribution equipment and the application and promotion of new material technology. In the future, Haihong Electric will actively respond to the call of the "one belt and one way" policy, continue to deepen the technological advantages of the three dimensional wound core, cooperate with the upstream and downstream manufacturers, and adhere to the road of sustainable development of independent innovation and green environmental protection, create more value-added products with the spirit of craftsmen, and promote the development of energy conservation and environmental protection at home and abroad.
